Henderson, NC--Carolyn Rhodes Ayscue, 61, of Henderson died Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. She was born to the late James Shelton Rhodes and Rebecca Bobbitt Rhodes in Vance County on September 9, 1962.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her son, Jason Roberson and an uncle.
Survivors: her husband, James Clay Ayscue; her children, Ryan Roberson, Megan Roberson, and Rebecca Hester (Kelly); four grandchildren; brother, James S. Rhodes Jr.; and one aunt.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Memorial Park, 2210 NC 561, Louisburg, NC, officiated by Pastor Jeff Prewer.
