Frances Annette Freeman
July 9, 1938 - May 26, 2024

Franklinton, NC--Frances Annette Freeman passed away peacefully in her home in Franklinton, NC on May 26, 2024. Annette was born on July 9, 1938, in Oxford, NC to the late Vernon H. and Mable Harris Freeman. In addition to her parents, Annette was predeceased by her sisters, Geraldine Freeman and Phyllis F. Pearce; and a nephew, Richard Bray.

Annette retired after 32 years from the State of North Carolina, John Umstead Hospital. She then worked another 12 years at Durham Regional Hospital as a technician. Annette loved to watch NASCAR racing, and she enjoyed fishing. Hometown Café was Annette's kitchen, and she loved her cat "Charlie".

Annette is survived by a nephew, Gary Bray (Joni); great-nieces and a great-nephew, Candace B. Millison (Nathan), Tiffany Perry, and Trent Bray (Cathy); her great-great nieces and great-great nephew, Grayson, Mackenzie, Tenley, and Aubrey.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2024, at at Fairview Cemetery.

Consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Annette's memory. The family would like to extend special thanks to caregivers, Sharon Love and Faye Wilson; and to Medi-Hospice.
