Roy Kimball "Pete" Finch

LOUISBURG, NC--Roy Kimball "Pete" Finch, 83, of Louisburg, passed away Wednesday evening, September 18, 2024 at his home.

Pete was the son of the late James Clifton Finch and Mary Carroll Finch. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Burnette Finch; and his brother, Thomas Clifton Finch.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.

Pete is survived by his daughter, Scarlett Edwards and husband Thomas, of Louisburg; sister Mary Ann Finch Burnette and husband William of Louisburg; grandchildren Sabrina Hoyle and Billy Thomas Edwards III; great-grandchildren Allison Hoyle and Aubrey Hoyle; and his dog, Max.

The family would like to thank Tanya Denton, as well as the nurses with Amedisys Hospice for their love and care given to Pete.
