HENDERSON, NC--Billy Thomas Edwards, 89, of Henderson, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Kerr Lake Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late John Archie Edwards and Gladys Ayscue Edwards.
A memorial service will be held by the family on Sunday, January 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Christian Church conducted by Rev. Tammy Ayscue.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church and at all other times will be at the home of Rose Frazier.
Surviving are his daughter Rose Frazier (Mack) and son Billy Thomas Edwards Jr. (Scarlett); six grandchildren David Earl Frazier (Cheryl), Melanie Hill (Chad), Jennifer Fuller (Ashley), Sabrina Thomas (Jonathan), Jessica Fuller (Angel), Billy Thomas Edwards III, Adam Freels, Kristy Howard, Dusty Freels, and Randall Freels; many great-grandchildren, and a sister, Shirley Matthews. Alongside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys McGinnis Edwards and a daughter, Arlene Fuller.
