Mary "Bit" Richardson West

Enfield, NC -- Funeral services for Mary "Bit" Richardson West, age 89, who died on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, were held Tuesday, May 20, at 2 p.m. at the Ivory Hill Baptist in Enfield with Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

Born Feb. 12, 1936, she is survived by two daughters, Delones Jean West and Joyce West (Randy), both of the home; three sons, Robert L. West, Jr. (Dorothy) and Rev. Andrew L. West (Margaret), both of Enfield, NC, George M. West (Yvette) of Charlotte, NC; her step-mother, Vertica Richardson of Enfield, NC; three sisters, Eloise Edwards of New Haven, CT, Peggie Mills of Nashville, NC, Jeanette Richardson of Enfield, NC; four brothers, James Richardson (Viola) of Rocky Mount, NC, Tony Richardson (Deborah) of Durham, NC, Steve Richardson of Enfield, NC, Lee Roger Richardson (Beverly) of Raleigh, NC; 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

The family received friends Monday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
