Funeral services for Leeroy "Lee" Richardson, age 88, who died on Saturday, June 7, 2025, will be held on Friday, June 13, at 1 p.m. at the Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister with Pastor Robert Hedgepeth officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Chapel Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Born Aug. 16, 1936, survivors include his wife, Venella Richardson of the home; three sons, Larry Richardson (Helena) of Suitland, MD, Michael Richardson (Cathy) of Hollister, NC, McCarroll Richardson (Esther) of Nashville, NC; one sister, Geraldine Richardson (Curtis) of Hollister, NC; four brothers, Clarence Richardson (Cassie) and Lewis Richardson (Mittie), both of Hollister, NC, Carey Richardson of Washington, DC, Carl Richardson (Frances) of Landover, MD; ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
