Irma A. Hoyle
January 1, 1932 - July 29, 2025

KITTRELL, NC -- Irma Ayscue Hoyle, 93, of Sims Bridge Road, died Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Franklin Oaks Nursing and Rehab.

Born January 1, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Neva Mae Ausborn Ayscue and Staley Thomas Ayscue. She was a member of Perrys Chapel Baptist Church in Franklinton. Irma was an accomplished seamstress working formerly at Leonards Drapery Shop and owning Hoyle's Drapery Shop. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

A graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Christian Church by Pastor Drake Downing.

Irma is survived by her husband of 74 years, Kermitt Duke Hoyle of the home; two sons, Steve Hoyle (Gale) and Richard Hoyle (Brenda), all of Kittrell; three grandchildren, Jonathan Hoyle (Heather), Katherine Hoyle and Amy Elizabeth Anderson (Mac); and six great grandchildren, Ben Hoyle, Allison Hoyle, Aubry Hoyle, Hunter Hoyle, Paisley Hoyle and Macie Collins.

The family will receive friends following the service on Thursday at Liberty Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Perrys Chapel Baptist Church, 894 Perrys Chapel Church Road, Franklinton, NC 27525 or Liberty Christian Church, C/O Mattie May, 1887 Epsom Rocky Ford Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
