Franklinton, NC -- Bruce Allen Ball, 76, died September 8, 2025 at his home in Franklinton. Bruce was born in James City County, VA on April 7, 1949 to the late Jay Milton and Joanne Margaret Wilson Ball.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Sue Ball, and his grandson Benjamin Cole.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rowena Lyons Ball; his children, Susie Kretzschmar (Lutz), Rich Bowen (Kathleen), Angela Bowen, Jonathan Wilson (Jeanie) Leslie Cahoon; 15 grandchildren, his five great grandchilden; his siblings, Chris Ball (Mary), Wendy Ball Williams (Glen), Kevin Ball (Georgianna) and his beloved neices and nephews and their families, and close friends.
A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, at Franklinton United Methodist Church, 109 N. Main St. Franklinton, with Rev. Johnny Llerena officiating.
