Franklinton, NC -- Funeral services for Walter B. Richardson, age 93, who died on Monday, September 15, 2025, will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Shocco Chapel Baptist Church in Warrenton, NC with Pastor Lennis Thorpe officiating. Burial will follow in the Shocco Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born Jan. 22, 1932, he is survived by two sons, Walter Richardson, Jr. (Olivia) of Clayton, NC and Ronnie Richardson of Raleigh, NC, four daughters, Joyce Perry (Claude) of Franklinton, NC, Judy Yarborough of Springfield, MA, Daphine Richardson of Wendell, NC, and Rosemary Beatty of Raleigh, NC, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC and a Saturday morning viewing will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. at Shocco Chapel Baptist Church in Warrenton, NC.
