NASHVILLE, NC -- Funeral services for Leah Mae Whitehead, age 77, who died on Friday, September 26, 2025 will be held on Friday, October 3, at 12 p.m. from the Union Hill Baptist Church in Nashville, NC.
Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Nashville, NC.
Born April 8, 1948, she is survived by her husband, Dan Whitehead of the home; one daughter, Jamie E. Whitehead Tyler (Gary) of Manassas, VA; one son, Dan Whitehead, Jr. (Stacy) of Slocomb, AL; one sister, Connie Richardson (Charlie) of Nashville, NC; two brothers, Daniel Boone of Louisburg, NC and Curtis Boone of Nashville, NC; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Viewing is Friday from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Union Hill Baptist Church.
