Carolyn Frazier Johnson
September 19, 1934 - November 8, 2025
Carolyn Frazier Johnson

Youngsville, NC -- Carolyn Frazier Johnson, 91, of Youngsville, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest while surrounded by her family Saturday, November 8, 2025 at her home following years of declining health.

She was born in Franklin County on September 19, 1934 to the late W. Leonard and Clyde Carter Frazier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Percy Atlas "Danny" Johnson in 2014 and Alton Randolph White in 1955.

Carolyn was a lifelong member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church where she served in many leadership roles. From a young age, she was committed to her faith and her church. She was instrumental in cultivating the music program, serving as pianist and in the handbell choir. She was a mainstay in many aspects of church and community outreach, making a personal connection with newcomers to welcome them into the church family and sharing the good news of the gospel. For the majority of her professional career, Carolyn was affiliated with the Law Office of Young, Moore and Henderson. She retired after more than 30 years of loyal service. Carolyn's family was the light of her life. She and Danny enjoyed exciting trips to the beach, mountains and many other locales with Rodney, Julie, grandchildren, siblings, nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Harris Chapel Baptist Church at 2960 Tarboro Rd, Youngsville NC, and will be officiated by The Reverend Doctor, William H. Haley. The family will receive friends one hour preceding the service at 1 p.m. in the Harris Chapel Baptist Fellowship Building and at all other times at the home. Private interment will be in the Harris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Rodney White and wife, Julie; grandchildren, Kyle White (Amanda), Laine Metzner (Shane), Ryan White (Mat); great grandchildren, Joseph Baker, Danielle Baker, Lucas White and Leland White; sister, Nancy Oakley; sisters-in-law, Myrna Raybon, Earlean Strickland (Tony), Alice Johnson, Sue Floyd (Charles); and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

The family is grateful for the special care provided by Andrea Hansard, Pam Rainey, Clara Terry and Transitions LifeCare Hospice.

Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions in Carolyn's name may be made to Harris Chapel Baptist Church General Fund, 2960 Tarboro Rd, Youngsville, NC 27596 or to a charity of your choice.
