Raleigh, NC -- Barbara Driver Rice, 90, of Raleigh, NC, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026 at her home in Raleigh.
Barbara was born July 3, 1935 in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Grover and Annie Driver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carey P. Rice and her brother, Edwin Driver.
Barbara is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Suzanne Rice, Brad Rice, Brian and Simone Rice; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6 at New Hope Christian Church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the New Hope Christian Church, 2779 NC 98 Hwy., Louisburg, NC 27549.
