Franklinton, NC -- Andrew Robert Lortcher, Sr., 84, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026 at his home in Franklinton.
Andrew was born on October 23, 1941 to the late Andrew Oscar and Thelma (Balduff) Lortcher.
Andrew is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Ann Glover Lortcher; his daughters, Angel Schwiefert and Andrea (Michael) Jenkins; four grandchildren, several great grandkids, nieces and nephews; his sisters, Velda Eskins and Esther Strait; and his brother, Paul (Donna) Lortcher.
In addition to his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by his sons, Mead Buckley, Johnny Lortcher, and Andrew Lortcher Jr.; and siblings, Alpha White, Norman Lortcher, Wayne Lortcher, and Laverne Nuthall.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday August 27, at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St. Franklinton, NC 27525. |
