LOUISBURG, NC -- Roy Charles Keffer, 86, of Louisburg, died Thursday morning, October 8, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born October 29, 1939, Roy was the son of the late Ralph and Mary Jane L. Keffer. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Ralph Jr., Larry, Jim and Paul Keffer.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Linda Keffer; daughters and son-in-law, Beth and Jeff Duke; Amy Heaton; sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Christine Keffer; Matt and Karen Keffer; sisters, Mary Webster, Ruth Neiderer and Joanne Couse; brothers Mike and George Keffer; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Roy's memory to a charity of one's choice.
