MARY S. RAPER
RALEIGH - Mary Seagroves Raper, 78, died Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Wake Medical Center. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 4, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Garner. Burial followed in the Auburn Christian Church cemetery, Raleigh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Clinton Raper; a son, Robert Seagroves; and a grandson.

Surviving: daughters, Brenda Howard (Darrell) of Garner, Linda Ross of Knightdale; sons, Joseph N. Seagroves Jr. and Roger Seagroves (Annie Ruth) , all of Raleigh; sisters Helen Markam of Apex, Pearl Stephens of Raleigh and Dorothy Goode of Louisburg; brother, Louis Weaver of Henderson; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
