HARVEY BATCHELOR
ZEBULON - Harvey Edward “Eddie” Batchelor, 59, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008. Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 23, at Social Plains Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery.

A native of Wake County but raised in Franklin County, he was son to the late Ethel Massey and William Eark Batchelor. He worked for Cummins Diesel.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sammie Batchelor, and brother, Wallace Batchelor.

Surviving: wife, Bettina Thomas Batchelor of the home; son, David Stephenson (Alisha) of Mooresville; daughter, Michelle Stephenson of Raleigh; sisters, Betty Oakley (Jack) of Raleigh, Mildred West (Tony) of Garner, Annette Boykin (J. W.) of Zebulon, Lacy Smith of Wendell; brother, Robert Batchelor (Dot) of Wendell; and four grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to The V. Foundation, Cancer Research, 106 Tower View Court, Cary, NC 27513.
