NOVIE B. DUPREE
November 15, 1922 – February 3, 2008
LOUISBURG – Novie Ball Dupree, 85, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning at her home.

Mrs. Dupree was a daughter of the late Joseph Kearney and Julia Mosley Ball, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Randall Dupree; sister, Julia B. Dickerson; brothers, Joe Ball, Jr. and Walter H. Ball.

Funeral service was 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial followed in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Dupree is survived by her daughter and son- in-law, Reverend Dera D. and Clayton Adair; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry G. and Patricia Dupree and Harry N. and Joyce Dupree; brothers, Alex Ball, Lindy Ball and Clyde Ball, all of Louisburg; grandchildren, Larry G. Dupree, II, Harry N. Dupree, II, Julia Raymond, Carol A. Dupree, Clayton Adair, Mark Shearin and Willis Adair; 9 great-grandchildren.

The family received friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Monday at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg.
