MAMIE J. JONES

FRANKLINTON--Funeral services for Mamie Johnson Jones, 81, who died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, will be held Saturday, Sept 22, at 11 a.m. at Franklinton Elementary School with the Rev. Timothy Faison officiating. Burial will follow in the New Liberty Church cemetery.

Surviving: her husband, James Jones of the home; daughters, Crystal Jones of Hampton, Va., Patricia Burk (Cliff) of Franklinton; sons, Glenn Arrington (Denise) of Clayton, Scott Perry of Franklinton; sister, Elva Johnson Jones (Emory) of Winston-Salem; brother, Sanford Johnson Jr. (Connie) of Raleigh; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, Sept. 21, from 6 until 7 p.m. at New Liberty Baptist Church in Louisburg.

Mrs. Jones was a very vital part of the county and her community. She will be greatly missed.
