CHARLIE C. WOODLIEF JR.
LOUISBURG - Charlie C. Woodlief, Jr., 69, died Friday afternoon, Feb. 23, 2007 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. A memorial service celebrating his life was held Monday, Feb. 26, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest.

He was born in Franklin County, son of Mary Francis Richards Woodlief and the late Charlie Clarence Woodlief Sr. Mr. Woodlief was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired electrician.

Surviving: his daughters, Angie Melvin of Youngsville and Rhonda Carper of Franklinton; his mother, Mary Francis Woodlief of Louisburg; a brother, Richard Larry Woodlief (Harriet) of Youngsville; and five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Charlie Woodlief Memorial Fund at 9 2nd St., Franklinton, NC 27525.
