Please, please, please open up your facility at our new hub site so Jay Lamm will stop drawing cartoons about me!

Haven't had time to come up with a quote, but wow, to quote Bryan Adams, this cartoon "Cuts Like a Knife."

Yes sir, I agree, it seems that the best location for the landing field will be right there on Rev. Dunston's front lawn.

Build it and they will come, just like in "Field of Dreams." (pause) Oh, that movie was not based on a true story? Uh, oh.

Hey, wait a minute. I think I know Don Lan Caster. I can't make fun of him... Hmm, do I know him, or don't I...?

By: thejackal on 11/15/07
Ralph, I promise you that you'll have your free office space at the hub. Yes, I won't forget that you campaigned for me.

By: Galvanize on 11/15/07

FT, I think everyone pretty much likes Don. Please make another picture, I love making jokes at the expense of others, probably more then anyone else, however Don's a decent Christian guy. I can't bring myself to burn him...

I have a $1500 computer on my desk with Google Earth yet I still have to use my trusty wall map

Make fun if you must, the HUB will prove to be very good for FC.....

By: Galvanize on 11/21/07
Mack, judging from the lack of responces, jokes, and also the vote poll, everyone think's highly of Don.

Radial, was that joke about Don, or the cartoonist that had to use photoshop to put this map in his cartoon? LOL

Mr. Lancaster is likeable, Especially by Mike Leonard and Lucy Allen. It's about getting on the inside for the good old boys. He does it well.
He did more for the school system on the school board than caving into special interest as a commissioner. He has pitential. It would be nice to see it played out for the citizens
At the hub: Committee of 100 (already got a lot), Wake Electric (got a lot), some Moss deal, some Mike Leonard deal, some Mitchell deal _ that's what this will turn into. Shame, really. (Or, the state will have to rescue the whole project.)
And Mack, ot may be good for us in 50 years ...... what about now?

By: Mack on 11/23/07
ashleyn;
Commissioners (like presidents) are elected because of their vision of whats best for the county. Don is a very smart man (this is not about the good ol boys)its about investing into the furure of Franklin County. Surely you understand that you must invest in a project, before you can reap a return. This HUB is a good investment for 'the future' of Franklin County, and it will not take 50 years for it to turn into gold..... It could even cause the DOT to double lane Hwy 401...

By: LilMsLadyPoet on 11/28/07
"Well, we hope 401 will be four-laned soon, to handle product transportation needs- until then, products can be shipped from our airport, once we extend the runway...which we hope to get funding for."
