LOLA ALLEN SMITH

FAYETTEVILLE, NC--Lola Allen Smith of Fayetteville, NC passed away on August 17, 2018. She was born in Louisburg, NC on April 25,1930 to the late Auburn Allen and Lola Parrish Allen. A resident of Cumberland County since 1962, Lola worked as a floral designer. She was a military wife who was dedicated to raising her sons and helping her friends and neighbors. She was a long-time member of Saint Matthew's United Methodist Church on Hope Mills Road.

RAHWAY, N. J.--Funeral services for Marie Terrell Wylie, 84, of Rahway, N. J., formerly of Louisburg, who died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, will be held Saturday, Aug. 25, at 2 p.m. at Haywood Baptist Church in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Haywood Church cemetery.

WILTON--Willie Gray Frazier Wheeler, 90, a longtime resident of the Wilton community (Granville County), died Monday, Aug. 20, 2018 at Granville Medical Center in Oxford. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church by the Rev. Carl E. Hunter. Burial will be conducted in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.
