FRANKLINTON, NC-- "Gail" Young Hockaday, 73, of Franklinton, passed away peacefully Friday morning, July 8, 2022 surrounded by her family at the William M. Dunlap Center for Caring.

Franklinton, NC--Funeral services for Luzany T. Perry, age 86, who died on Friday, July 8, 2022, will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2022 from the Westminister Evangelistic Church #2 in Louisburg with Bishop Louis Witherspoon officiating. Burial will follow in the Westminister Church Cemetery.

Henderson, NC--Funeral services for Mary "Granny Gran" McMillian Thomas, age 56, who died on Friday, July 8, 2022, will be held 12 p.m., Friday, July 15, from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the Jones Chapel Church Cemetery.

SMITHFIELD, NC--Mary Catherine Rogers, 85, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022. She was born June 5, 1937 in Scotland County, NC to the late Roosevelt Sessoms and Mae Dunn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Rogers, daughters, Teresa Carter and Vickie Futch, twin brothers, Abraham Sessoms and David Sessoms and a sister, Lela Haywood.
