Burial will follow in the Allen Chapel Church Cemetery.

Castalia, NC--Eric Boyce Upchurch, age 52, died January 30, 2024. He was born on May 1, 1971 to the late William Boyce Upchurch and Cyrethia Dorsey Upchurch in Wake County, NC.

Henderson, NC--Jeffery Thomas Grissom, 62, of Henderson, NC, died February 2, 2024, at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was the son of the late Thomas Gray Grissom Sr. and the late Linda Tharrington Faucette, both formally of Henderson.

LOUISBURG, NC -- Marlene Peele Griffin, age 81, of White Level died Friday, February 2, 2024. She was born on December 1, 1942, to the late Willie F. and Daisy Pridgen Peele. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold T. Griffin.

Burial will follow in the Mark's Chapel Church Cemetery in Rocky Mount.
