WILBUR G. PEARCE

YOUNGSVILLE, NC -- Wilbur Gray Pearce, 90, of Youngsville, died Monday evening, Aug. 4, 2025, at his home.

He was the son of the late Lumas "Fab" Pearce and Minta Perry Pearce. He was preceded in death by his brothers Cecil Pearce, Shelton Pearce, and Odell Pearce; and granddaughter Miranda Lynn Wheeler.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 7, at the Harrs Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Haley officiating. The family received friends immediately following the service.

Wilbur is survived by his wife, Carolyn Rice Pearce; son Tony Pearce of Youngsville; daughter Tammy Weathers and husband Bobby of Wake Forest; brothers Pete Pearce (Vann) of Bunn, James Pearce (Becky) of Raleigh, Bobby Pearce (Ann) of Rolesville, and Russell "Hambone" Pearce of Bunn; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harris Chapel Baptist Church, 2960 Tarboro Rd. Youngsville, NC 27596.
