SHERRY L. STILES
WINCHESTER, VA—Sherry Lynn Pleasants Stiles, 63, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Friday, June 28, 2013, in her home.

 Ms. Stiles was born in 1950, in Warrenton, North Carolina, the daughter of the late William Pleasants, Sr. and Mary Lou Burnette. She was a graduate of Gaithersburg High School, Class of 1968. She was also a graduate of Lord Fairfax Community College, where she received an Associate’s Degree.  Ms. Stiles was the former HR Manager and Office Manager with Pleasants Construction, retiring after 26 years.  After moving to Winchester, she became the Owner and Operator of Winchester Floral.

Surviving is her daughter, Ginger Anderson and husband, Kevin of Clearbrook, Virginia; son George “Gene” Doody of Winchester, Virginia; five grandchildren, Kolton, Kooper and Khloe Anderson, Nan and Georgia Doody; four sisters, Phyllis Jones and husband, Junior, of Clarksburg, Maryland, Gena Steel and husband, Andrew, of South Carolina, Sybil Kirkner and husband, Bud, of Winchester, Rosemary Florez and husband, Manuel, of Burke, Virginia; three brothers, Don Pleasants and wife, Claudia, of Clarksburg, Maryland, Tracy Bonvillain and wife, Chris, of Louisburg, North Carolina and Sam Cown and wife, Gary Leigh, of Texas; and a very large loving extended family.

A Memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Winchester Church of God with Pastor Darrell Waller officiating.  Interment will be private.
