HARRY T. DANIEL

HALIFAX, VA - Harry Thomas Daniel of Halifax, VA died Monday, Oct. 13, 2014 at the age of 80. A Celebration of Life with light reception and remembrances led by the Rev. Jack Stewart will be held on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the Brooks Lyon Suite at 115 Main St. South Boston VA, 24592.

He was born in Knoxville, TN and was reared in Danville and South Boston, VA. He was the son of the late Henry Broadus Daniel, Sr. and the late Doris May Robertson Daniel. He was retired from Home Beneficial Insurance.

Surviving: wife, Lillian Crabtree Daniel; two daughters, Linda D. (Dr. Tim) Duncan of Halifax, VA and Susan D. (David) Reddy of Halifax, VA; sons, Thomas Arthur Daniel (Penny) of Martinsville, VA and Derek Brent Daniel (Mandy) of Halifax, VA; and five grandchildren, In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dr. Henry Broadus Daniel, Jr..
