PATSY PACE BAREFOOT

FRANKLINTON - Patsy Pace Barefoot, 87, died Sunday, January 17, 2016. Born in Franklin County on April 27, 1928 to the late Robert William, Sr. and Elsie Kearney Pace.

Patsy was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church, where she played the piano for many years and also taught Sunday School. She was a 1945 graduate of Franklinton High School and was a retired bookkeeper. Patsy was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are Patsy's daughters, Deborah B. Freeman and her husband, James "Jimmy" Freeman, and Nancy B. Parrish; grandchildren, L.C Nelms and his wife Lois, Beth Namishia and her husband Dan; and great-grandchildren, Oliver, Levi, Cheyenne, Ethan, Shayla, and Eli. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Barefoot; her son, William "Buddy" Barefoot; and brothers, R.W. Pace Jr., Rufus Pace, and P. G. Pace.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton with Connie Bedoya officiating.
