RALEIGH - Deborah Perdue Cassell, 65, of Raleigh, died Tuesday evening at Rex Hospital.

Deborah was a daughter of the late Walter and Ida Stuart Perdue. She was preceded in death by her son, Kory Cassell; brothers, Clifton Perdue and Donnie Perdue.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert Cassell; daughter, Karmen Cassell of Charlotte; sister, Judy Perdue of Raleigh; brother, Thomas Perdue of Louisburg; sisters-in-law, Barbara Perdue of Louisburg; Joyce Perdue of Wilmington.
