LOUISBURG - Brenda Cooper Alvis, 68, died Friday, June 16, 2017. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 18, from 2-2:45 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 394 Ferrells Bridge Road, Louisburg, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
She was born on Sept. 14, 1948 to the late J.B. Cooper Jr. and Lorraine Ayscue Cooper.
Surviving: husband, Rickey Alvis; daughters, Susan Weathers (Brian), Elaine Grice (Phillip); brother, Joseph Cooper (Judi), all of Louisburg; sisters, Pam Gower (Don) of Raleigh, Sharron Freeman, Rebecca Cooper, both of Louisburg; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
