DALE LAMON MILLER

LOUISBURG--Dale Lamon Miller, 88, of Louisburg passed away on Thursday morning, February 22, 2018. He was born in Hennessy, OK on June 15, 1929 to the late Robert A. and Gladys B. Miller. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Tex Robert Miller. Dale graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Chemistry and Physics. Dale returned to Marlette to work in the mobile home factory, and with great success, he realized this would be the career path for him.

Dale is survived by his wife of 37 years, Martha Ford Miller; his daughter, Shelley Miller Foster of San Diego, CA; his son, Richard Miller and wife, Sarah of Carrboro, NC; stepdaughters, Allison Martin of Swansboro, NC and Mary Charles Whitaker and her husband, Todd, of Youngsville, NC; grandchildren, Rebecca Foster, Stephen Foster, Jack Miller, Haley Wester, Christopher Whitaker, Cameron Whitaker, and Lauren Davenport. Also surviving are his sisters, Aloha Williard and Dona Wilcox, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family held a private service.
