LOUISBURG--George Brantley Burnette, 91, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019. The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 10, from 1:45 - 2:45 p.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church where funeral services will follow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Kaden Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

He was born to the late Kenneth and Emma Gilliam Burnette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Coggins Burnette; brother, Perry Burnette; and his sister, Elsie Mae Jones.

Surviving: his son, Larry Brantley Burnette (Billie); daughter, Margie Littlefield (H.C.); four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
