LOUISBURG--Linda Lee Wynne Taylor, 72, of Louisburg transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on December 31, 1947 to the late George Washington and Shirley Ayscue Wynne. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Wynne. Linda loved her church and church family dearly. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and raking her yard. She was a fantastic cook and prepared meals at Kids Corner Daycare for many years. Family was very important to her and she looked forward to spending time with them, especially at Christmas, it being her favorite holiday.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Freddie Taylor; daughter, Kim Seal (Ramey); brother, Dwight Wynne; sisters, Judy Joyner (Gary) and Pat Jones, (Greg); grandchildren, Landon Seal, Dustin Jones (Ashley), Alex Jones, Brooke Joyner, Dillon Joyner (Erin), Rhett Joyner, Amber Bottoms (Russell), Rylan Bottoms, Broden Bottoms and her granddog, Bailey

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church where funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Ted Jones and Reverend Chris Fair officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Linda Taylor Memorial Playground Fund, c/o Sam Perdue, 56 Best View Drive, Louisburg, NC 27549.
