WARREN T. BOONE
June 22, 1953 - March 13, 2021

LOUISBURG, NC - Warren Taylor Boone, 67, of the Justice Community, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Warren was a son of the late William Taylor and Louise Davis Boone. He was a member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church. He was a farmer most of his life but worked with the NC Forestry Service for a short time and owned Boone's Backhoe and Landscaping til he retired in 2015. He was active in the Justice Fire Department for over 33 years serving as Fire Chief part of that time.

He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends camping at the lake every year. His favorite pass time was being on the lake fishing off his boat the "Pea-toon".

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Duke Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends immedately following the service at the home. Due to the pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required.

Warren is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Myra Harris Boone; daughter, Leigh Anne Arrington; son, William "Bill" Baxter Boone; granddaughters, Anna Grace and Emily Elizabeth Arrington; brothers and sister-in-law, Dennis and Cecilia Boone; Don Boone; his aunt that he thought of as a sister, Annette Roberson and her husband, Larry.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Justice Fire Department, 4113 NC 581 Hwy. N., Spring Hope, NC 27882 or to the William Taylor Boone Media Center c/o Edward Best Elementary School, 4011 NC 56 Hwy., Louisburg, NC 27549.
