KITTRELL, NC--Matthew Dewayne Russell, 26, of Kittrell, passed away on October 21, 2021. He was born on March 14, 1995 in Vance County to Michael and Mandy Russell.
In addition to his parents, Michael Russell (Julie) and Mandy Russell, Matthew is survived by his wife, Leann Brogden Russell; his children, Maverick and Sophia Russell and their mother, Samantha Morris; his stepson, Jason Rogers; sister McKayla Russell; bestfriend/brother, Austin Kupec; sister-in-law, Brianna Brogden; brother-in-law, Isaac Brogden; mother-in-law, Leslie Hill; and grandparents, Linda Young, Debbie Hock, and George Russell.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at 5 p.m. on Friday, October 29, at 188 Balance Rock Road, Kittrell, NC.
