LOUISBURG, NC--James McKnight, 88, of Louisburg passed away on February 26, 2022. He was born on March 23, 1933 to the late Nathaniel and Frances Perry McKnight. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Clova Terry McKnight.

James is survived by his four children, Elaine Vines, Lessie McKnight-Edwards (Robert), Anthony Jefferson (Bonnie), and Ruthie McKnight-Daniel (Devon); eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of James' life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Lifeline Outreach Ministry, 3227 NC Hwy 581, Louisburg, NC.
