Theodore Russell Earl

LOUISBURG, NC--Theodore Russell Earl, 86, of Louisburg passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at his home. He was born on January 5, 1936 to the late Frederick and Mary Brewster Earl.

Ted is survived by wife of 61 years, Joyce Allyne Musselman Earl; his son and daughter-in-law, Theo "Rusty" Earl and Amy Funderburk; and his sisters, Sharon Meyer (Terry) and Jan Mayo.

A graveside memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in the Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 1982 NC 56 Hwy E. Louisburg, NC 27549 with Reverend Jason Havens officiating.

Ted served his country in the US Navy in Korea. He was a very good husband and father, he was involved in everything Rusty did growing up, from cub scouts to little league coaching. Ted was an avid golfer and a expert craftsman with woodworking and carpentry, at one point working in a custom cabinetry business. Ted's love for others was evident in his joy of his church family as well as the fostering of children that he and Joyce cared for through the years

In lieu of flowers, consider contributions to Maple Springs Baptist Church. Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC 27549. Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
