LOUISBURG, NC--Joseph Harold "Joe" Wheless, 76, passed away on July 11, 2023. He was born on July 14, 1946 to the late Woodroe and Hazel Fuller Wheless. In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by brothers, Robert Wheless and David Wheless.

Joe is survived by his wife, Susan Ellington Wheless; his children, Steve Wheless, Tammy Ulrich (Jeff), Wesley Wheless (Megan), and Katie Wheless; his grandchildren, Tyler Ulrich (Kelli), Kymbrie Ulrich, William Ulrich, Oliver Wheless, Avery Wheless, Emma Wheless, and Elizabeth Wheless; a great-grandchild, Lincoln Ulrich; and his siblings, Edith Nelson, Betty Wheless, Shirley Scott, Dorothy Church, and J.B. Wheless.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 14, at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, 4582 US 401 Hwy N., Louisburg NC.
