FOY RAY MOZINGO
March 28, 1946 - August 31, 2023

LOUISBURG, NC--Foy Ray Mozingo, 77, of Louisburg, passed away Thursday morning, August 31, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family.

Foy was the son of the late Foy E. Mozingo and Rena Mozingo. He was preceded in death by his son, Sammy Mozingo; and brothers, David Mozingo and James Earl Mozingo.

Foy proudly served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam war. After is time in the service, he returned home and worked for many years as a butcher.

Foy is survived by his loving wife, Judy Mozingo of Louisburg; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Candace Mozingo of Louisburg; sister, Molly Parton and husband Ronald of Rockingham; daughter-in-law, Erin Harden; grandchildren Bailey, Ansley, Lauren, Cameron, Samantha, and Kloey; and great-grandson Walker.

The family received friends in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, September 2, from 3:30 - 5 p.m. A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 3, at 3 p.m., at Anchor Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at Bunn Memorial Gardens.
