Marlene Lee Robb
February 8, 1936 - September 30, 2025

Louisburg, NC -- Marlene Lee Robb, 89, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Born on February 8, 1936, she lived a life enriched by intellectual curiosity, a love of nature, and a deep dedication to education. Her final resting place will be Storm Lake Cemetery, in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Marlene devoted her professional life to teaching, finding joy and purpose in working with ESL (English as a Second Language) and TAG (Talented and Gifted) students. Beyond her career, Marlene was an avid gardener as well as a nature lover, enjoying visits of the many birds and deer in her backyard. Marlene also loved traveling to Europe, even living in Paris as a young woman, completing crossword puzzles, visiting with her grandchildren, and cuddling her cats and cherished Bichon Frise pup, Bubble Lee.

Marlene was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Melanie Harsch and Jennifer Robb; her sons-in-law, Glenn Harsch and Daniele Farnedi; and her grandchildren, Nena Harsch, Malee Harsch, and Stefano Farnedi.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nena Fitchett; her father, Harry Lee; her step-father, Harold Fitchett; her son, Paul Robb; and her brother, Verlin Lee.

Marlene's legacy endures in the lives she touched--as a teacher, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Donations on Marlene's behalf would be appreciated at animal shelters of your choice.
