FRANKLINTON, NC -- Michael Shane Ferguson, 54, of Franklinton passed away on June 22, 2026 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.
Shane was born on November 6, 1971 in Winchester, IN to Larry and Patty (Wynn) Ferguson.
Shane was preceded in death by grandparents Roy and Christine Wynn (Winchester, IN) and an aunt and uncle.
Shane is survived by his wife Kristy Ferguson of Franklinton, NC; two daughters Chelsea Hernandez of Jacksonville, NC, Michelle Ferguson of Winchester, IN, and two sons Zackory Bechtol of Dunkirk, IN, Tylor Ferguson of Winchester, IN; two granddaughters, one grandson; and a sister Valerie Foudray of Winchester, IN.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 11, from 1 - 3 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg.
