Curves has announced that the 2007 Curves Food Drive brought in 900 pounds in Franklinton that will benefit the local Franklinton Senior Center. Around the world, Curves members donated nearly 11 million pounds of food to their local food banks during March.

BUNN -- Few Bunn teams -- and none in recent history -- have traveled as far as this one in the Class 2-A State Baseball Playoffs.
With that in mind, there were plenty of season-long achievements to reflect upon following the Wildcats’ elimination from the playoffs last Saturday at home.

LOUISBURG - Louisburg High has officially entered recent unchartered territory in the Class 1-A State Softball Playoffs.
Unless you’re LHS head coach Erica Wammock.
Back in 1998, Wammock, then a sophomore, was part of a Lady Warriors’ club that reached the state finals. Louisburg hasn’t made it as far as the third round since then.
KING -- Melanie Lovin always knew the potential was there for her Bunn High fast-pitch softball team to make a deep run in the Class 2-A State Playoffs.
It was just a matter of putting all of the pieces together.
