BENJAMIN "BEN" E. SMITH

KITTRELL--Benjamin Earl "Ben" Smith departed this life on March 17, 2019 into the arms of Jesus to hear "Well done, good and faithful servant." He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour at the age of 26 and strived to serve Jesus and his fellow man throughout his life. He was born on January 21, 1923, the son of Noel and Lula Hale Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jim Smith, Louise Pernell, Ed Hale and John H. Smith.

DONNIE R. DUPREE

LOUISBURG--Donnie Ray Dupree, 76, of Louisburg left us to be with the Lord on Monday, March 18, 2019. He was born on December 30, 1942 to the late Ottis and Myrtle Stephenson Dupree. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stacy Dupree, and his sister, Shirley D. Fuquay. Donnie loved farming, working in his yard and garden, collecting and restoring clocks, refinishing lamps and antique furniture, and he also enjoyed bluegrass music and camping at Myrtle Beach. He was a very active member of Red Bud Baptist Church.

LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Elizabeth Smith Wright, 78, who died Sunday, March 17, 2019, will be held Saturday, March 23, at 1 p.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Louisburg, with Pastor Timothy Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Church cemetery.

YOUNGSVILLE--Margaret Hope Perry Finch, 89, of Youngsville passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019. She was born May 11, 1929 in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle (Pully) Perry. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, William Dorsett Finch, in 2014.
