YOUNGSVILLE--Funeral services for Eddie Smith, 70, who died Saturday, April 6, 2019, will be held Saturday, April 13, at 1 p.m. at Popes Chapel United Church of Christ in Franklinton, with Pastor Leroy Dukes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

YOUNGSVILLE--Gary "Buck" Keene, 65, died Friday March 29, 2019. A memorial service was held Saturday April 6, in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.

RALEIGH--Marie Inscoe Harris, 86, of Raleigh died on April 4, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian W. Harris; her parents; siblings; and her daughter, Jaima Harris.

SPRING HOPE --Nellie Bartholomew Pace, 94, died Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Transitions Life Care Center in Raleigh. Visitation with the family was held at Lancaster Funeral Home, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg on Sunday, April 7, from 3-4 p.m., followed by a celebration of life service at 4 p.m.

KITTRELL--Memorial services for Robert Kearney, 73, who died Saturday, April 6, 2019, will be held Wednesday, April 10, at 2 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, with Elder Stephen McAllister officiating.

LOUISBURG--Wayne S. Murray, 73, of Louisburg departed this earthly life on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Louisburg Manor. He was born on December 9, 1945 to the late Herman and Geneva Hill Murray. He is also preceded in death by his brother William Murray. Wayne loved to write. He wrote many short stories and poems.

FRANKLINTON--Funeral services for William "Pookie" Crudup, 59, who died Thursday, April 4, 2019, will be held Thursday, April 11, at 1 p.m. at Popes Chapel United Church of Christ in Franklinton, with Pastor Leroy Dukes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
