ALLEN WAYNE THARRINGTON
"Daddy Wayne"
June 29, 1947 - August 17, 2023

Allen Wayne Tharrington passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on August 17, 2023.


Wayne was born in Nash County on June 29, 1947. He was a salesman his entire adult life with his favorite hobbies being purchasing new automobiles and shooting pool. Wayne loved to and was an incredibly good cook, owing that to his father, Allen. Above everything else, Wayne loved his family and was so excited whenever new additions came. His nickname, "Daddy Wayne,"was bestowed upon him by his granddaughter, Alicia.

CONNIE HOCUTT COOKE
August 5, 1953 - August 17, 2023

Louisburg, NC-- Connie Hocutt Cooke, 70, of Louisburg, passed away Thursday evening, August 17, 2023 at Nash General Hospital.
Connie was the daughter of the late James Thomas Hocutt and Doris Marie Hinnant Hocutt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister Judy Denton.
