Louisburg, NC -- Funeral services for John D. Wright, age 88, who died on Sunday, February 15, 2026, will be held on Monday, February 23, at 1 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC with Rev. Stanley Hicks, officiating.

Born June 12, 1937, he is survived by his daughters, Joyce Scott and Brenda Fairley both of Raleigh, NC,; son, John C. Wright (Vickie) of Raleigh, NC; sister, Lizzie Wright of Louisburg, NC, 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing prior to the service on Monday, February 23, from 12 until 1 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, NC.
