JAMES M. HILL
RALEIGH - James Marshall Hill, 85, Died July 27, 2010. A funeral service was Thursday, July 29 in the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was at Raleigh Memorial Park.

He was born March 16, 1925 to Sandy Vernon Hill and Hettie Wiggins Hill of Youngsville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Young Hill and brother, Vernon Hill.

After his graduation from Youngsville High School, he was employed as a  bus driver for Carolina Trailways. He retired from 30 years of fertilizer sales with International Minerals & Chemicals (IMC). He was a member of the Berean Sunday school class at New Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving: sons, Tim Hill (Christie) of Wake Forest, and Steven Y. Hill (Brenda) of Raleigh; sister, Claire Shaw of Raleigh; brother, Bob Hill of Oxford; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner’s Crippled Children’s Hospital, Greenville, S.C. or the Building Fund at New Hope Baptist Church, Raleigh, N.C.
