Margaret was a lifelong stay-at-home mom and as long as her health permitted, she was a faithful member of Glen Royal Baptist Church. When her health failed and required nursing care, she took great joy in visits from family and friends, as well as others that passed through the lobby of Hillside Nursing & Rehab in Wake Forest.

A funeral service was held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon July 25, 2021 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Brantley Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Brantley is survived by her sons; James Lawrence Brantley and wife Alice, Jesse Frank Brantley and wife Cheryl, a stepson; Herley Brantley, Jr. and wife Janet, a brother; Marvin Rupert Weathers and wife Ruby, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

On behalf of the Brantley Family, a special thank you to the staff at Hillside Nursing & Rehab in Wake Forest for the kindness and compassionate care given to our mother over the many years, and to Universal Health Care staff for the care you provided during her recent but brief stay.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Glen Royal Baptist Church, 731 Elizabeth Avenue, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
