Zebulon, NC--Odie Branch Perry Jr., 90, of Zebulon, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023. He was born on September 13, 1932, to the late Odie Branch and Stancey Pearce Perry. In addition to his parents, O.B. was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia Perry; and his brother, Zane Perry.

O.B. is survived by his son, Marty Perry (Julie); his daughter, Amanda Lewis (Moon Mullen); his granddaughter, Ashton Richards (Jesse); and his sister, Merle Perry.

O.B. served his country in the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He loved farming but had worked in TV and Radio; dispatching for 911 in Franklin County; and had retired from the State Capitol Police Security. O.B. was always optimistic, telling others "Don't be negative" and his word meant everything. O.B. had a passion for music, he, played, wrote, and enjoyed listening to songs.

Graveside funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Bunn Town Cemetery with the Reverend Harry Upchurch officiating.
