JAMES L. SUTTON
FRANKLINTON —James Luther Sutton, 66, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011 in Louisburg. Friends may call Jaimie at 801-831-4987 for information on a memorial to be held in Durham on Saturday evening, Sept. 17.

He was born in Rockingham, son of Luther Lee and Ogreeta Thompson Sutton. He graduated from  the University of Utah with a degree in Zoology. He worked for the Indian Health Service and more recently, the EPA in Research Triangle.

Surviving: his mother, Ogreeta T. Sutton; daughters, Lydia Abbey Huxley Degn-Stuton of Durham and Jaimie Alliene (Stoney) Harrington; sister, Judy (Leon) Hale of Asheboro; one grandson; two nephews; and close companion, Linda Kathan.
