DONALD F. NEWELL
LOUISBURG - Donald Fletcher Newell, 55, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, Dec. 15) at Blaylock Funeral Home, 203 North Front St., Warrenton, by Billy Fuller, with burial to follow in the Wise Cemetery.

He was born in Warren County to the late Norman Harold Newell and Hazel Briley Newell. Mr. Fletcher was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served with the Seabees, and was an employee of Wade Moore Equipment Company in Louisburg.

Surviving: his children, Rose Mary Pullen of Henderson and Norman Jackson “Jack” Newell of Louisburg; one brother, Johnny Newell of Centerville; and one grandchild.

Flowers are acceptable and any memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home.
